Don’t like your email inbox? Get a HEY ‘Imbox’

Most people don’t pay for email. I think it’s worth it now.

When I launched my consulting practice, I decided I didn’t want to jump into another Gmail inbox.

HEY isn’t like Gmail in any way really.

One of the best features? The Screener. “The first time someone emails you they land in The Screener. You decide if you want to hear from them or not. Yes and they’re in, No and you’ll never hear from them again. You’re in control,” the folks at HEY say in their promotions.

HEY was developed by the same people who brought the world Basecamp, a project management tool that I also use for my business. Again, it has features and a price that similar software doesn’t match.

HEY is made for Web, Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android. Check it out at hey.com. No, this isn’t a paid ad. Just a recommendation from me to you. Because if you are going to spend a lot of time in an inbox, it better not make you hate it.

And If you ever want a fresh take on business from the mind of Jason Fried, co-founder and CEO behind HEY and Basecamp, search him on your favorite podcasting format. I always learn from him when he’s interviewed. The last podcast I listened to was a conversation with David Senra. Fried has his own podcast called The Rework Podcast.
